What sizes do your work desks come in?
The Modern Rustic Work desk comes in any size to suit your space. We custom make all our desks so we can size up for grand open plan studio spaces but also scale down to create bespoke sizes for small or awkward spaces that can be optimised for home working we’ve made desks for bedrooms, hallways, landings, kitchen corners and even a walk-in cupboard.
Can I change the height of my desk to suit my chair?
The leg height of our work desk and studio work tables can all be customised to suit work seating, From ergonomic office chairs, to wheelchair, desk kneelers or stools we can work with you to customise a leg height and the all-important positioning that’s just right for you.
Can castors be added to the Palewash and Darkwash desks?
Yes, we can add castors to all our desks. The premium easy glide swivel and lock castors that are featured on our Colour Collection Studio Work Tables are available across the range and make changing location and use of the work desks really easy.
Are The Modern Rustic desktops up to daily computer use?
The Modern Rustic desktops are stain and abrasion resistant and water repellent. As with all our tables, the Colourwash and Charred processes take time, several applications and are rigorously tested to withstand the demands of high traffic modern living.
Everything is handmade in our rural workshop and each step of the process quality controlled. We use premium grade Scandinavian Redwood which is sanded and planed all sides to give a smooth, even surface. We use an eco-colour and wax layering process, each with ample time to dry and cure. The final is a natural wax finish to give a soft touch, tactile feel.
Do the desks come assembled?
The tables usually come as a separate top and legs with very easy attachment guide. This is to ease transportation and access into the property. We offer a white glove delivery service as an option, to have the table assembled and all packaging removed.
