Who we are

Behind the scenes, our small team is made up of designers, makers and creatives who have a strong commitment to considered design.

For us, it's about following our long held respect for all things well made and utilitarian. Getting back to the basics of producing functional, sustainable products closer to home, without the need for shipping containers and air miles.

Workshop and materials

In our rural studio and workshop, ethically managed materials and craft based methods of production are at the root of everything we do.

The timber we use is slow grown (over 60 years) from sustainably managed Scandinavian Redwood forests. This dense, tightly grained wood is renowned for its exceptional stability, which greatly reduces the likelihood of splitting or twisting. Each board goes through a comprehensive grading and kiln drying process at the mill before it is handcrafted and finished in our workshop. We also combine this premium grade timber with heavy duty UK manufactured steel, sourced from our local steel fabricator. It helps ensure every product that leaves our workshop is of genuine quality and most importantly, built to last.

Back story

Our passion for modern rustic design goes back a long way. Over more than a decade, we have combined our love for crafting practical, long lasting furniture with developing and renovating properties in an environmentally positive way. Including this award winning, sustainable home we created within two acres of woodland in rural Cheshire.

Small or large, residential or commercial, if you have an upcoming project which could benefit from our creative input and help bring your modern rustic vision to life, please feel free to contact us and leave a message.
